As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Palette platform, a modern enterprise Kubernetes management platform. You will be responsible for building an always-on, self-healing, and declarative platform for managing infrastructure and applications. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable, dependable, and secure solutions. You will also stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain innovative.
Missions
- Conception, design, and implementation of GoLang-based microservices that serve as the foundation of the Palette platform.
- Ensuring the seamless operation of the platform through automation, scripting, and rigorous testing, while maintaining a strong emphasis on code quality.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to create scalable, dependable, and secure solutions that push boundaries, while staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Profil recherché
- You will have the opportunity to contribute significantly by designing, optimizing, and streamlining GoLang-based microservices that serve as the foundation of our platform- Proficiency in Kubernetes is required - it lies at the very heart of our contemporary cloud-native, data center and edge solutions
- Understanding of security best practices in edge computing and distributed network environments
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and optimization (MongoDB experience preferred)
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, operators, controllers, and custom resources
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence technical direction and drive architectural consensus
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD) preferred
- Hands-on experience with edge computing platforms and infrastructure management patterns
- Experience with modern IDEs (such as Cursor or GoLand)
- Experience with virtual machine usage and integration within software solutions
- Track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Advanced proficiency in Linux-based environments and command-line tools
- 8+ years of software development experience (or 6+ years with a Master's degree)
- Strong architectural and design skills for distributed systems and microservices
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Go; familiarity with Java or similar modern languages
- Proficiency with Go testing ecosystem, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines for edge deployments
