Data Architect - Azure & Snowflake

As a Data Architect - Azure & Snowflake, you will:

• Define and establish current-state and target-state data architectures across various business use cases.
• Translate business capabilities and data requirements into effective and actionable data architecture solutions.
• Design and develop scalable data models aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Establish architecture patterns and best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and management.
• Guide the design and implementation of cloud-based data platforms, particularly using Microsoft Azure.
• Define and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance.
• Ensure data architecture solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver effective data solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor data engineering teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in data architecture, modelling, governance, and lifecycle management.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 10+ years of overall professional experience in data architecture, data modelling, and cloud data platforms.
• Extensive experience in Data Architecture and Data Modelling.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud data platform architecture.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake and modern data platform concepts.
• Experience designing data models and defining data ingestion and transformation patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality Management, and Data Lifecycle Management.
• Good understanding of data security, privacy controls, and GDPR compliance.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical data architecture solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies is an advantage.
• Experience with Power BI and enterprise reporting architecture is desirable.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and other data management tools is an advantage.
• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or TOGAF are preferred.

• Design scalable and sustainable enterprise data architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Translate complex business requirements into practical data architecture and modelling solutions.
• Define data ingestion, transformation, and integration patterns.
• Guide cloud data platform design and architecture decisions using Azure services.
• Establish data governance practices and ensure compliance with security and privacy requirements.
• Evaluate existing data architectures and recommend improvements to support future business needs.
• Lead architecture reviews and communicate technical decisions effectively.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.
• Work effectively in an Agile environment while managing multiple priorities.
