State Street is an American financial institution founded in Boston in 1792 and one of the oldest banks in the United States, though its modern business bears little resemblance to retail banking. It is one of the three dominant global custodians, holding trillions of dollars of assets in safekeeping for institutional investors and providing the fund accounting, administration and settlement infrastructure that asset managers depend on. Its investment arm State Street Global Advisors created the first American exchange traded fund with the SPDR S&P 500 Trust and remains one of the largest index managers in the world.

Who we are looking for:

The ideal candidate is an experienced technology delivery leader with a strong background in data platforms, reporting applications, cloud technologies, and business intelligence solutions. This individual will serve as the IT Delivery Manager for the Agency Lending Data & Reporting technology portfolio and will lead the delivery of strategic initiatives across data, reporting, analytics, application modernization, and business intelligence.

The successful candidate will have experience delivering enterprise data solutions, cloud migration initiatives, API integrations, and reporting platforms. Experience with Databricks, Oracle data warehouse technologies, AWS and/or Azure, enterprise data warehousing, and business intelligence tools such as Cognos and Power BI is highly desirable.

Why this role is important to us:

Agency Lending is modernizing its data, reporting, and analytics platforms to improve scalability, data quality, operational efficiency, and self-service reporting capabilities. As part of this transformation, State Street is investing in modern cloud-based technologies, enterprise data platforms, and business intelligence solutions to better support client reporting, operational reporting, analytics, and regulatory requirements.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Lead delivery of Agency Lending data, reporting, analytics, and technology initiatives from planning through implementation and production support.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, resource planning, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Serve as the primary technology delivery lead for the Agency Lending Data & Reporting application portfolio.

  • Define and execute the Agency Lending Data & Reporting technology roadmap.
  • Coordinate and lead delivery activities across architecture, engineering, data engineering, QA, infrastructure, cybersecurity, production support, and operations teams.
  • Drive modernization initiatives involving Oracle-based data warehouse solutions, Databricks, reporting platforms, cloud technologies, and enterprise data solutions.
  • Partner with architects and engineers to design scalable data and reporting solutions that support current and future business needs.
  • Support the development of a common reporting framework that enables Cognos, Power BI, and other business intelligence platforms to consume consistent, governed data from Databricks.
  • Lead API integration initiatives between Agency Lending applications and upstream and downstream enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with State Street technology standards, SDLC processes, operational controls, security requirements, and audit standards.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on program status, risks, milestones, and delivery outcomes.

  • Establish a high-performing team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop staffing strategies, resource plans, and organizational capabilities to support current and future business priorities.
  • Partner with vendors and offshore teams to ensure delivery commitments, service levels, and quality standards are consistently achieved.

  • Ability to establish clear delivery plans and execute against strategic business objectives.
  • Experience delivering enterprise data and reporting solutions.
  • Experience modernizing legacy data warehouse and reporting platforms while supporting ongoing business needs.
  • Understanding of modern cloud architecture, data platforms, integration frameworks, and reporting technologies.
