Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud platforms, virtualisation technologies, networking, infrastructure automation, and hybrid cloud environments. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence while supporting business-critical applications and services.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
• Build and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments.
• Configure cloud networking, storage, compute, and security services.
• Support cloud migration and modernisation initiatives.

Hybrid Cloud and Datacenter Operations:

• Manage hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premise infrastructure with cloud platforms.
• Support infrastructure capacity planning, performance optimisation, and resource utilisation.
• Ensure business continuity through high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for infrastructure upgrades and maintenance.

Virtualisation and Platform Management:

• Administer virtualisation platforms such as VMware vSphere, ESXi, Hyper-V, or similar technologies.
• Manage virtual machine provisioning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management.
• Implement virtualised networking and storage solutions.
• Support server consolidation and virtualisation initiatives.

Infrastructure Automation:

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.

Monitoring and Incident Management:

• Monitor infrastructure health, availability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
• Ensure compliance with operational and security standards.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement cloud security best practices.
• Manage IAM, access controls, encryption, and network security.
• Support infrastructure audits and compliance requirements.
• Maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

Requirements:

• Experience working in FinTech, SaaS, Product-Based, or Enterprise organizations.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks.
• Required Skills: Cloud Platforms, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Virtualisation Technologies: VMware vSphere, ESXi, Hyper-V, Virtual Machine Administration.
• Infrastructure and Networking: VPC / VNET, VPN, Load Balancers, DNS, Firewalls, Network Security.
• Automation and DevOps: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Shell Scripting / Python.
• Monitoring Tools: CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Monitoring, Grafana / Prometheus.
• Operating Systems: Linux, Windows Server.
