Customer Data and Analytics Coordinator

Position Summary:

Responsible for helping the city's water company, Toshkent Shahar Suv Taminoti (TSST), in maintaining and improving the customer database, ensuring the data is correct and up to date.

Responsibilities & Duties:

- Analyze the existing database with specific tools and determine possible anomalies.

- Coordinate and collaborate with GIS team for the Customer Survey on all water and wastewater connections.

- Help Toshkent Shahar Suv Taminoti in updating the database from Networks and Customer Surveys.

- Help Toshkent Shahar Suv Taminoti in updating the database according to the development of the smart metering program.

- Help Toshkent Shahar Suv Taminoti in checking if the data coming from the Automated Reading is correctly inserted in the database.

- Help TSST in producing statistics from the databases and other tools implemented within the project in the Customer Service Field.

- Control if there is a record of client accounts in place with updated charges to the account and payments made or missed and that account status and database are updated regularly.

- Analyze by client segment (category/geography) the present collection rate.

- Design, implement, and monitor, with TSST, adapted action plans for every segment identified.

- Prepare the regular database update and report for each district

- Advise on areas where data clean-up is needed.

- Participate in meetings regarding the implementation of a unique billing system for all utilities.

- Extract and generate various reports upon request and provide information for periodic reports on revenue.

- Propose improvements to the existing and future Customer Information Systems.

- Supervise and mentor the database intern, providing hands-on training in analysis techniques and reviewing outputs to ensure quality results.

- Prepare consumption reports.

- Develop and prepare tools to enhance the Customer Database.

- Extract data and pinpoint areas of the database requiring improvement.

- Provide the necessary recommendations and support TSST in their implementation.

- Monitor and evaluate the results of implemented improvements to confirm intended outcomes are achieved.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation of analysis methods and tools to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer within the team.

Qualifications:

- Associate or College Degree;

- Prior experience in data entry and database administration.

- Proficiency in Uzbek and Russian languages.

- Basic proficiency in English

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.

The total budget of the project is 185.4 million euros, of which 142 million euros will be disbursed through loans from leading European banks - the funds will be used to modernize urban water supply and improve their management in accordance with the highest international standards.

Main activity:

- Upgrade Tashkent water public service to an international standard

- Bring the experience of SUEZ, introduce modern technologies, equipment and software to improve the management of drinking water supply and sewage system in the city of Tashkent

- Improve financial sustainability of the water service.
