Superside is hiring a Group Account Director to lead one of our biggest enterprise accounts and ensure consistent delivery excellence at scale. You’ll operate at a portfolio level, guiding account strategy, strengthening commercial performance, and supporting account leaders to deliver high-quality, scalable outcomes.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role focuses on driving retention, growth, and operational rigor across multiple accounts while building strong executive relationships and a high-performing account leadership bench.
What you'll do
- Own portfolio-level performance across revenue, retention, and delivery quality.
- Guide account strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead and coach Account Directors and Senior Account Managers to raise performance and consistency.
- Drive commercial rigor across accounts, including forecasting accuracy and deal quality.
- Identify and resolve systemic delivery, resourcing, and operational challenges.
- Act as the escalation point for high-risk client situations and strategic opportunities.
- Partner with General Managers to provide clear insights on portfolio health and growth.
- Strengthen executive relationships across key accounts, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Ensure consistent application of processes, workflows, and best practices across accounts.
- Drive continuous improvement in how teams deliver, scale, and operate.
What you'll need to succeed
12-18+ years of experience in agency, consulting, or client services leadership roles.
Proven ownership of portfolio-level revenue, retention, and growth.
Experience managing and developing senior account leaders.
Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting, deal structuring, and margin management.
Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels across multiple accounts.
Strong executive communication skills with experience managing senior stakeholders.
Experience identifying and resolving systemic operational challenges.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Strong judgment in high-stakes client and business situations.
