IT Application Officer

• Manage and support business applications their lifecycle to ensure system availability, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze business requirements and deliver application solutions, enhancements, and system integrations that support business operations.
• Provide Level 2 application support by troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor application performance, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure system security, stability, backup, and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with business users on requirements gathering, implementation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and post-implementation support.
• Manage user access, maintain application documentation, and ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and audit requirements.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve business processes and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Accounting Information System, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Application Support, Business Applications, ERP, or a similar role, including at least two end-to-end ERP or enterprise system implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, SQL, ERP/business applications, and system integration.
• Experience in application troubleshooting, UAT, vendor management, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• ITIL Foundation or other relevant certifications are an advantage.
