About the role:
Help Sydney Water deliver world class services and help make the lives of over four million customers better by joining our team as an Asset Data Specialist. The role involves creating and updating various types of asset and spatial data, including land ownership, buildings, infrastructure, and geographic information, following specific management standards
What you will be doing:
Create and modify asset and /or spatial data aligned to asset information requirements and standards
Ensure asset information management services meet agreed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
Execute, monitor, and adapt processes for timely and effective service delivery.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations.
Participate in process and system improvements to enhance business efficiency and risk management.
Create, modify, and manage asset and spatial data according to standards and policies.
About You:
Ideally you will hold tertiary qualifications in information management, engineering, information technology, or related discipline.
Experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems and processes – ideally with Maximo, Smallworld GIS and, Enterprise Drawing Management System (EDMS) or similar
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset data, and information management to support business processes and implement ongoing improvements.
Ability to foster innovation, training and knowledge retention for asset information lifecycle management.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and Power BI or equivalent visualization applications.
