Stock Controller

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock takes and ensuring effective stock control within the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile physical stock against system records.
• Monitor and record incoming and outgoing stock.
• Identify, investigate and report stock discrepancies.
• Ensure all stock movements are accurately captured and accounted for.
• Maintain an organised and efficient stock control system.
• Assist with month-end stock takes and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with dealership stock control procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential).
• A certificate or diploma in Inventory Management, Stock Control, Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be advantageous.
• Previous experience in stock control or inventory management.
• Experience within an automotive dealership will be advantageous.
• Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with stock management or inventory systems.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take accountability for stock accuracy.
• Reliable, honest and able to work under pressure.

Working Requirements

• Must be available to work every alternate Saturday.
• Must be willing to work on public holidays as required
