Analytics and Applied Machine Learning Lead

This role involves leading advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives within a cloud-based ecosystem. As a Manager, you will guide technical delivery, oversee complex ML implementations, and ensure high-quality outcomes for stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving the practical application of predictive modeling and statistical analysis to solve critical business problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics and machine learning use cases.
• Guide technical decision-making and maintain high delivery standards across the project lifecycle.
• Engage with stakeholders to define requirements, manage risks, and align outcomes with business objectives.
• Apply hands-on expertise in Python and cloud-native ML services to build scalable solutions.
• Oversee the implementation of forecasting, classification, and model explainability frameworks.
• Mentor team members and ensure best practices in ML development and deployment.
• Coordinate project activities to ensure seamless integration within the cloud ecosystem.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of relevant experience in advanced analytics and machine learning.
• Engineering degree or higher qualification.
• Strong proficiency in Python and statistical modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Vertex AI and cloud-based ML platforms.
• Familiarity with BigQuery ML and Databricks is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver complex ML projects in a professional services environment.
• Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations and project dependencies.
