Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers and QA teams to translate complex business and regulatory needs into clear, testable requirements. The role involves analysing business processes and data flows, producing functional specifications and user stories, and supporting solution delivery from discovery through post-release. This is a hybrid position based in Noida / Bangalore, suited to a hands-on analyst who can bridge business and technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements analysis by translating complex business needs into detailed, testable functional and technical requirements
• Conduct structured analysis of business processes, applications, data flows and system integrations to identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities
• Create process flows, data flow diagrams, use cases and functional specifications to support solution design and delivery
• Write epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria covering business outcomes, validations, exception scenarios and non-functional considerations
• Ensure end-to-end traceability between business objectives, requirements, design, development stories, test scenarios and delivered functionality
• Partner with stakeholders, developers, QA and data specialists to evaluate solution options and support informed technology decisions
• Support production implementation, validation and post-release activities, including resolution of production issues and end-user inquiries
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones
• Communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis practices, documentation standards and reusable assets

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis
• Strong experience in requirements analysis, business process analysis and functional specifications
• Hands-on exposure to SQL and Databricks
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria within Agile/Scrum methodology
• Ability to create process and data flow diagrams and other analysis artifacts
• Solid understanding of technology landscapes, system integrations and data flows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
• B.Tech, MCA, BCA or M.Tech qualification
