HSE Manager

The HSE Manager will be responsible for overseeing all health, safety, and environmental initiatives at the Navi Mumbai facility. This role involves driving a culture of safety, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory standards, and mitigating operational risks. You will lead safety audits, conduct training programs, and manage emergency preparedness protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform detailed risk assessments for all operational processes and machinery.
• Design and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
• Manage environmental management systems, including waste disposal and pollution control measures.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and maintain all safety-related documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a proactive safety culture across the facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a relevant field, preferably with a diploma in Industrial Safety.
• Proven experience in HSE management within a manufacturing or industrial packaging environment.
• Strong knowledge of local and national safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to lead incident investigations effectively.
• Strong communication and training skills to influence safety behaviors across the workforce.
• Ability to work effectively in a full-time, on-site capacity in Navi Mumbai.
