Project Manager, Climate Risk

This role involves leading and managing projects focused on climate risk within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to strategic objectives. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage climate risk projects from initiation to closure
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes related to climate risk initiatives

Requirements

• 10-13 years of experience in project management, preferably within financial services
• Proven experience in managing projects related to climate risk, environmental risk, or sustainability
• Strong understanding of climate risk frameworks and regulatory requirements in the financial sector
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field
