Senior C++ App Developer

This role sits within a high-performance Global Markets IT team focused on equity derivatives and exchange connectivity. You will be responsible for developing the market access layer for electronic trading platforms, ensuring high-capacity and low-latency performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and certify market access components connecting to OCG systems using binary protocols.
• Build and maintain feed handlers for processing market order messages.
• Derive accurate market best bid, ask, and last prices from incoming data feeds.
• Implement and optimize pre-trade control mechanisms.
• Focus on the automation of development and delivery pipelines to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment to deliver high-quality trading solutions.
• Maintain high standards of code quality and system reliability.

Requirements

• 5 to 9.5 years of professional experience in a similar software development role.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven expertise in C++ development.
• Strong experience with Exchange Connectivity and direct Market Data feeds.
• Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
• Experience in the Equity and Equity Derivatives space is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with low-latency, high-capacity trading platforms.
