Software Quality Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Engineer to join a high-impact team focused on complex financial systems. You will be responsible for designing robust test strategies, championing quality throughout the development lifecycle, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, user-centric software products.

Responsibilities

• Design and own comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and quality gates aligned with product requirements.
• Develop and maintain structured, reusable test cases for functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
• Execute manual and automated test suites across web and API layers, including exploratory testing.
• Manage defect lifecycles using Jira or Azure DevOps, providing clear documentation and trend reports.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers during code reviews and sprint ceremonies to proactively identify quality risks.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance testing efficiency, including automated test case generation and defect triage.
• Apply agentic testing approaches to validate the behavior and outputs of AI-driven features and autonomous workflows.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of professional experience in Software Quality Engineering.
• Proficiency in test automation tools including Selenium and Playwright.
• Strong experience with API testing, SQL, and performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized testing environments.
• Experience with security testing practices and methodologies.
• ISTQB Certification is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking tools like Jira.
