Designation : Sr. Software Engineer (Zoho)

What is the work

• We are looking for a Software Engineer (Zoho) who can analyze, diagnose, and optimize existing Zoho implementations. The ideal candidate should be able to understand complex business workflows, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and translate business requirements into practical, scalable Zoho solutions.
• The candidate should be comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders, conducting discovery sessions, mapping current vs. ideal processes, presenting recommendations, and overseeing implementation. Experience in eCommerce, retail, inventory, order fulfillment, and finance workflows will be highly valuable, particularly where Zoho serves as the backend system.
• We are looking for someone who can bring structure to complex system environments, reduce manual work and operational errors, improve reporting and visibility, and drive better system adoption.

What skills and experience are we looking for

• 5+ years of experience in Zoho consulting, implementation, solutioning, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Zoho CRM and at least one of Zoho Inventory or Zoho Books .
• Experience auditing and improving existing or legacy Zoho implementations.
• Strong understanding of business process mapping, workflow analysis, gap analysis, and root-cause diagnosis.
• Ability to design and optimize Zoho system architecture, module structures, workflows, automations, and data flows.
• Experience with sales, order-to-fulfillment, inventory, finance, and reconciliation processes.
• Understanding of eCommerce backend workflows, including orders, inventory, customers, and financial data.
• Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce , or similar eCommerce integrations is preferred.
• Understanding of retail/POS workflows, including billing, stock movement, and store-level operations.
• Exposure to Zoho Zakya or similar POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to perform light Zoho configuration, including fields, workflows, reports, and automations.
• Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flow between platforms.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers on customizations and integrations.
• Experience with Zoho Analytics is a plus.
• Exposure to Zapier, Make, or similar integration platforms is desirable.
• Zoho certifications are an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-design skills.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, workshop, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to create solution documentation, process flows, reporting frameworks, and implementation recommendations.
• Strong focus on data structure, reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and system adoption.
