Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Developer with strong expertise in database development, performance optimization, and Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration, NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in converting Oracle stored procedures, packages, and SQL queries to PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases while ensuring database reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL database solutions.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/pgSQL procedures, and functions.
Lead and support Oracle to PostgreSQL database migration activities, including stored procedures, packages, and query conversion.
Analyze and improve database performance, scalability, and availability.
Implement database backup, recovery, and maintenance strategies.
Monitor database health and troubleshoot production issues.
Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database solutions.
Maintain technical documentation and adhere to database governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in PostgreSQL database development.
Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/pgSQL & NoSQL databases
Proven experience in Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects.
Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.
Experience with backup, recovery, and database administration activities.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
