Job Purpose:
As Business Development Manager, Peripherals Europe, you will lead the growth and development of a strategic technology category across multiple European markets.
You will define and execute the category strategy, build strong partnerships with leading manufacturers, and drive profitable growth through innovative go-to-market initiatives. Acting as a key link between vendors, country teams, and executive leadership, you will identify new opportunities, influence strategic decisions, and accelerate business performance across Europe.
You will also accelerate AI-enabled ways of working, using AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve commercial decision-making, productivity, forecasting, customer targeting, and execution at scale.
This role is ideal for a commercially driven leader who combines strategic thinking, strong execution, and a passion for building high-growth businesses
Responsibilities:
Own revenue, profit, market share, vendor investment, and forecasting performance.
Develop and execute growth plans across Europe, identifying new opportunities and customer segments.
Build and manage strategic relationships with vendors and partners, leading business reviews and planning activities.
Drive commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and profitability initiatives.
Turn market insights into actionable business growth opportunities.
Influence and align cross-functional teams across multiple European countries.
Lead scalable pan-European programs and best-practice adoption.
Drive the adoption of AI, automation, analytics, and market intelligence to improve decision-making and business performance.
Apply AI-driven insights to forecasting, customer segmentation, reporting, planning, and portfolio management.
Promote responsible and effective use of AI while providing executive-level recommendations.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
5+ years of business development, category management, vendor management, or commercial leadership experience within the technology sector.
Strong knowledge of manufacturers, distributors, channel partners, and European market dynamics.
Proven track record of delivering sustainable growth and building strategic partnerships.
Experience operating successfully within complex international matrix organizations.
Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data-driven decision making.
Demonstrated hands-on experience applying generative AI, automation, and advanced analytics to real commercial processes, with proven and measurable business outcomes.
Ability to identify, test, implement, and scale AI use cases across market analysis, forecasting, customer segmentation, reporting, commercial planning, productivity, and content generation.
Practical understanding of responsible AI use, including data confidentiality, output validation, human oversight, and adoption within corporate environments.
Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.
Experience within the peripherals ecosystem is highly desirable.
