Job Summary

The Process Engineer IV at SYNNEX Corporation is a senior-level role responsible for optimizing and improving manufacturing and operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. This role involves complex problem-solving and strategic process development.

Job Responsibilities

* Lead the design, development, and implementation of new or improved manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.

* Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, utilizing advanced statistical process control (SPC) techniques.

* Develop and implement process control strategies, including Poka-Yoke and automation solutions, to ensure consistent product quality and operational stability.

* Manage complex projects from conception through completion, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of process improvements.

* Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all processes, procedures, and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex process-related issues, applying root cause analysis methodologies to prevent recurrence.

* Evaluate new technologies and materials for potential application in SYNNEX processes, conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.

* Ensure all process modifications and implementations adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

* Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or operations environment, preferably in the electronics or technology distribution industry.

* Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing significant process improvement initiatives, resulting in measurable gains in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.

* Expert proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and process simulation tools.

* Strong understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification highly desirable), and other continuous improvement methodologies.

* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

* Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

* Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering design tools.
