Sr. Site Director/Operations Director

The Senior Site Director is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of manufacturing operations, ensuring operational excellence, productivity, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role leads multiple operational functions, drives strategic initiatives, manages large cross-functional teams, and ensures alignment with business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilites:

• Responsible for manufacturing facilities in Singapore and Wuxi, China overseeing 450+ direct and indirect reports.
• Lead end-to-end manufacturing and operational activities to achieve production, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Oversee daily plant operations, including production planning, workforce management, materials availability, and operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and best-in-class operational practices.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with long-term business goals and customer requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop senior managers and operational teams, ensuring effective succession planning and workforce capability.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, RBA, EHS, and other applicable regulatory and industry standards.
• Manage internal and external audits, addressing corrective actions and compliance requirements.
• Oversee operational budgeting, resource planning, cost management, and capital expenditure initiatives.
• Partner with senior leadership to establish strategic plans, operational objectives, and organizational priorities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and employee engagement across the organization.

• Proven track record of leading large, diverse teams and driving operational transformation.
• Strong understanding of quality, regulatory compliance, ISO standards, RBA requirements, and audit management.
• Excellent strategic planning, budgeting, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous for regional stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

• Degree or Master's qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15-20 years of manufacturing operations leadership experience, with significant experience managing large-scale production environments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, operational excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in electronics, IT hardware, EMS, or high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.
• Proven track record of leading large, diverse teams and driving operational transformation.
• Strong understanding of quality, regulatory compliance, ISO standards, RBA requirements, and audit management.
• Excellent strategic planning, budgeting, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous for regional stakeholder engagement.
