Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in the banking domain to oversee the development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, documentation, and support of high quality, reliable, and mission critical applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to identify new requirements and lead technology teams in delivering effective solutions, particularly in the Retail/Digital Banking space.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire application lifecycle, ensuring high quality delivery that meets business needs.
• Collaborate with business units to gather and define new business requirements.
• Lead technology teams in delivering solutions that align with business objectives.
• Manage T&M and Fixed Price projects effectively.
• Partner with other application development teams to create front to back solutions.
• Provide oversight for J2EE/Microservices technology teams in an Onsite Offshore model.
• Lead a large team of resources, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Participate in and run workshops to review user journeys, measure outcomes, and report findings.
• Chair review meetings to ensure project alignment and progress.

Mandatory Skills

• 15+ years of technical leadership experience in J2EE, Microservices, Containerization, Spring, and Oracle technologies, preferably in the banking domain.
• Strong Java Application Design and development skills (Java 11 is a deal breaker).
• Extensive experience with application development using the J2EE technology stack for service oriented architecture.
• Deep understanding of data models and their application in technology solutions.
• Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to define and meet SLAs to satisfy aggressive project timelines.
• Strong project risk management skills, including identification, tracking, and prevention/handling.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
