Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or a Professional Accountancy Qualification (eg, ACCA/CPA Australia/MICPA)
- Hands-on leader with experience in managing, leading, and nurturing Finance staff
- A self-motivated and analytical mindset with stakeholder management skills will be preferred
- Ability to work under pressure & work in a tight timeline given
- Ability to work as a team with a collaborative management style.
- An organized and meticulous person with a good eye for detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Oracle
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the full spectrum of financial operations, including but not limited to:
- Monthly closing, preparation of management and financial reports for the entity
- Manage and coach subordinate(s) to handle all financial matters and maintain proper records
- Develop Finance into a proactive function through training and mentoring
- Ensure full compliance with relevant laws and regulations, liaise with auditors and tax agents on statutory audit and annual tax returns
- Perform periodic review of key business processes to ensure proper controls and procedures are in place, and to seek opportunities for continuous improvements of the country's finance
- Work with stakeholders to provide monthly analysis on results vs Forecast vs Budget
- All other ad hoc work is assigned as required from time to time
