About the Role:
A leading UK-based financial services organization is undergoing significant digital, cloud and platform transformation. The Solution Architect will design end-to-end solutions across business initiatives, partnering with engineering and platform teams to deliver resilient, secure, and cloud-native architectures at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define end-to-end solution architectures for complex business initiatives.
- Create scalable, resilient, and maintainable architectures using modern design principles.
- Produce high-quality architecture artifacts including HLDs, solution designs, sequence diagrams, and deployment architectures.
- Design and govern microservices-based architectures using API-first solutions.
- Architect solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP leveraging containers and Kubernetes.
- Embed security-by-design principles (IAM, OAuth2, mTLS) into all solutions.
- Design operational and analytical data architectures.
- Champion CI/CD, DevSecOps, and observability practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and present architecture decisions to senior leadership.
Tech Stack & Requirements:
- 8 - 15 years of experience in solution/enterprise architecture roles.
- Expertise in microservices, API-first design, and integration patterns (Kafka, Pub/Sub, MQ).
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Solid understanding of security-by-design (IAM, OAuth2, OIDC, SSO, mTLS).
- Experience with relational, NoSQL, and distributed data platforms.
