THE ROLE:

You'll own client analysis from scope to delivery, working both independently and as part of a wider client team to turn customer data into action. You won't stop at the question, you'll need to look why a result looks the way it does, what's driving it, and what else the data is telling us. You'll bring those insights to life for the client, presenting your work with confidence and authenticity. You will need to explain it in a way that suits each audience and build relationships where clients trust your judgement as much as your numbers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead analysis, visualisation and modelling projects from scoping through to delivery, agreeing objectives and scope with clients and the wider client team.
• Deliver work that meets the agreed scope, while spotting what else the data is showing and flagging it as a further opportunity.
• Go beyond the obvious answer, asking why results look the way they do and testing alternative explanations before drawing conclusions.
• Build robust recommendations for clients, grounded in the data and with a clear commercial rationale.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients with confidence, adapting the message to each audience.
• Act as a senior voice within the wider Customer Science team, sharing best practice and sector knowledge.

How Success Will Be Measured

• Accurate and timely delivery of client projects against the scope.
• All work delivered consistently, properly documented, with time and resource tracked against scope.
• Can identify and advise on actionable recommendations based on key findings from analysis, which clients can act on.
• Uses data to help guide commercial decisions.
• Present methodologies, potential solutions and results at client meetings.
• Junior colleagues develop under your mentorship.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst or related discipline.
• Strong experience using SQL and Python.
• Experience working with large volumes of customer data and a good general understanding of statistics, measurement, and data modelling.
• Excellent communication and client presentation skills to a range of stakeholders.
• Able to run projects from brief to recommendation with minimal oversight.
• A naturally inquisitive approach, with a track record of finding insight beyond the original question.

NICE TO HAVES:

• Experience using Databricks, GCP, GA4, AWS, Azure, SQL Server, Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI and related tools/ infrastructure.
• Direct agency experience with a proven record of delivering to clients.
• Industry exposure within Retail, eCommerce, Travel and more.
