Role Responsibilities
Responsible for managing technology projects and business change initiatives across APAC, partnering with business, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders to deliver strategic, regulatory, and operational improvements. The role combines project management, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and technology delivery within a regulated financial markets environment.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology projects, system enhancements, and strategic change initiatives across APAC.
- Partner with brokers, trading desks, operations, compliance, risk, and technology teams to understand business requirements and develop effective technology solutions.
- Analyse business processes and operational issues, document requirements, and produce clear functional and technical specifications.
- Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies, testing, user acceptance, and production releases.
- Coordinate cross-functional technology teams to ensure successful project execution and adherence to internal governance and change management processes.
- Support the ongoing operation of business-critical applications and assist in the resolution of production issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, controls, client service, and regulatory compliance.
Experience / Competences
- Proven experience delivering business change initiatives and technology projects within brokerage, capital markets, or financial services environments.
- Strong understanding of trading and broking workflows, trade lifecycle processes, electronic trading platforms, post-trade operations, market data, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated Agile project delivery experience, with certifications such as SAFe, CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, or equivalent preferred.
- Strong business analysis and process modelling skills, including experience with Visio, UML, workflow, and swim lane diagrams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, budgeting, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, compliant, and effective technology solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and project management platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, Workfront, and other PPM solutions.
- Knowledge of financial markets including Fixed Income, FX, Equities, Commodities, Energy, and Derivatives is advantageous.
