Senior Platform Engineer - Cyber AI Specialist

Your opportunity:

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Platform Engineer to join our Cyber Enablement team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, implementing and continuously improving security capabilities across a large and complex technology environment. You will leverage automation, data-driven decision making and emerging AI technologies to improve operational efficiency, accelerate delivery and enhance cyber security outcomes.

Working closely with engineering, cloud, infrastructure, architecture, network and delivery teams, you will help embed security into platforms, services and projects from design through to operation. You'll leverage automation, scripting, AI-assisted engineering and modern engineering practices to reduce risk, improve efficiency and enable secure outcomes at scale.

You'll make an impact by:

• Leverage AI-assisted development, automation and analytical capabilities to improve engineering productivity, accelerate delivery and enhance cyber security operations.
• Design, implement and continuously improve cyber security capabilities that protect TPG Telecom's systems, data and customers.
• Own the technical lifecycle of assigned security platforms and services, including roadmap planning, integration, operational support, upgrades and continuous improvement.
• Develop automation, integrations and tooling using scripting, APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles to improve security outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Lead the onboarding and integration of technologies, applications and platforms into cyber security services, ensuring alignment with security standards and operational requirements.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise technology or cyber security solutions.
• Experience with automation, scripting or software development
• Knowledge of cloud, infrastructure, networking and security concepts, with experience across one or more technology domains.
• Experience integrating platforms and services using APIs, automation frameworks and modern engineering practices.
• Understanding of security domains such as Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Endpoint Security, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Data Protection and Cloud Security.
• Exposure to security platforms such as CyberArk, SailPoint, Splunk, SentinelOne, Vectra, Microsoft Security and AWS security services is desirable but not essential.

Ideally, you will also have:

• Experience working within large, complex or regulated enterprise environments.
• Ability to balance security, operational and business requirements to deliver pragmatic outcomes.
• Experience using generative AI, AI-assisted development tools or intelligent automation platforms to improve engineering, operational or security outcomes is desirable.
