Job Responsibilities

You’ll work alongside talented engineers and cross-functional teams to design and build high-quality software while continuously improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems.

You will:

• Design and build scalable technology solutions that support Trafilea’s growth and the evolution of Trafilea Engine.

• Develop new capabilities and continuously improve existing systems, with a strong focus on internal APIs and infrastructure.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code designed for high-scale environments.

• Identify technical debt, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks, and implement solutions to address them.

• Improve system performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

• Contribute to technical planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews, helping raise engineering standards.

• Ensure strong observability through effective logging, monitoring, alerting, and debugging practices.

• Document technical solutions clearly to enable effective cross-team collaboration.

• Help shape the backlog and connect technical decisions and KPIs with product and business priorities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong Full Stack experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.

• Strong backend development experience with Node.js/ NestJS or comparable technologies.

• Strong frontend development experience with React /Next.js.

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with solid experience designing and developing REST APIs.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based environments.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability patterns, performance optimization, and system reliability.

• Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, modern development workflows, and engineering quality practices.

• Experience with observability and production systems, including monitoring, logging, debugging, and identifying technical debt and performance bottlenecks.
