Position Summary:

At TrendAI, we operate from our mission and pay for outcomes. This role designs how we reward the people and capabilities that drive our growth. You'll build just enough structure to keep pay fair and simple, design a total rewards model that drives business growth and rewards the right behaviors, and give leaders real-time, AI-native insight into whether our pay is working.

What You'll Do:

You'll build a light, flexible pay architecture that links pay to the capabilities and outcomes each team needs, not only to titles or grades, anchored in a global pay philosophy and benchmarked against the right markets. With Sales and Finance, you'll shape pay mix and short-term incentives that reward team and company outcomes, and with leadership you'll develop long-term incentives so Trenders share in the value they create.

You'll also build the pay intelligence that shows leaders, in one live view, whether our pay is fair, competitive and affordable, and keeps us ahead of pay equity and transparency requirements.

• Own TrendAI's global compensation strategy, policies and programs across base pay, short-term incentives, long-term incentives and recognition.

• Advise senior leaders, HR business partners and recruiters on offers, promotions, retention and organization changes.

• Partner with PE&A on compensation data, analytics and Workday configuration, and with Finance on budgets, accruals and cost modeling.

• Prepare compensation proposals and reporting for the CHRO and executive leadership.

• Work with HR's Learning Design & Enablement Partner to train HR teams and managers on pay programs.

• Grow a small compensation team as the function matures.

What You Should Have:

• 8+ years in compensation or total rewards, including global programs across the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

• Hands-on job architecture experience, with the judgment to keep structure light in a fast-moving business.

• Experience designing sales compensation and short- and long-term incentive plans, ideally including cash-settled or phantom equity.

• Strong financial modeling skills and confidence presenting to senior leaders.

• Working knowledge of Workday Compensation or Advanced Compensation.

• Fluency with people analytics and AI tools, and experience turning pay data into real-time insight.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Technology or cybersecurity industry experience, ideally in a Japan-headquartered or matrixed global company.

• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP).

• Experience leading pay equity reviews and pay transparency programs.

• Experience in a fast-growing, startup-style environment, building rewards from the ground up.
