We raised our seed, built a best-in-class AI-native broker platform with AI agents that quote, bind, and service policies autonomously, and are scaling an exceptional team.
We are looking for a Founding Engineer to go deep on AI agents and models - working on messy, high-impact problems that most people would walk away from, shipping from day one, and owning what you build end to end.
Your Day to Day at Truvo
Deep Interactions: Sit with our insurance team and build AI agents to automate workflows, plus models to deeply understand insurance carrier appetite
API Integration: Construct deep API integrations into insurance carriers
Shipping from Day One: Deploy to production and move extremely quickly, while taking full responsibility for your projects
Requirements
Problem Solver: You love working on messy, high-impact problems that most people would walk away from
Builder and Owner: You take ideas from zero to one quickly. You thrive in ambiguity, figure things out, and ship
Applied AI: Hands-on experience with LLMs and agents - building, fine-tuning, or deploying them in production
Systems Thinker: Comfortable with integrations, APIs, and workflow automation. Insurance runs on legacy rails - you will help us rewire them
Scrappy Engineer: Strong software engineering background. Experience building production-grade systems, not just prototypes
Nice to Have: Exposure to fintech/insurtech, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, or workflow automation
