- Experience of 5-8 years as Quantity Surveyor in vast projects ( more than 5lacs SQ.Ft).
- Candidates having experience in Residential, Commercial Buildings/ Office Buildings will get precedence.
- Excellent communication skill both Oral and Written (Preferably English) with global corporate clients.
- Ability to work in team with good interpersonal skills.
- Having awareness of various IS codes.
- Reading drawings thoroughly and taking out quantities from Hardcopy or AutoCAD drawings.
- Having thorough knowledge in Kolkata market price trend of materials and labours for various items.
Having knowledge in,
Pre Contract:
- Budget of various levels, BOQ Preparation and Costing, detailed quantification of various items, Rate analysis etc.
- Coordination with Client, Internal Project team , Architects and Consultants.
Post Contract:
- Participate in Bill certification of MEP(Electrical, PHE, HVAC, Fire Protection, and others)packages both supply and installation w.r.t the contract.
- Reading BOQs and certify items as per the actual work progress and preparation of payment certificate.
- Detailed quantity checking from site ,JMRs and approved drawings and finalizing with contractors.
- Handling Contract documents, BG and WCP, Challan & Invoices, Material Inspection checklist, Quality checklist, Pour cards, other statutory documents etc.
- Do or check Reconciliation of Free issue materials and quantities of all MEP BOQ items etc.
- Do or check Rate analysis of various items and verification from Kolkata market rates.
- Coordination with Client’s Project team, Internal Project team , Architect, Consultants and Contractors.
B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from reputed college or university of West Bengal.
