Strategic optimization and performance management of 3G, 4G (FDD/TDD), and 5G NR networks. The role ensures peak spectral efficiency and superior subscriber experience through AI-driven diagnostics and automated analytics while driving 5G modernization. This position serves as a technical authority to ensure network coverage and quality targets meet internal SLAs and TRC Jordan regulations.

Key Responsibilities

-Network Optimization & AI: Lead end-to-end optimization for 3G, 4G, and 5G NR to maintain high-quality mobility and performance, utilizing AI-driven OSS tools for proactive tuning.

-5G Leadership: Fine-tune 5G features, including Massive MIMO and beamforming, to maximize throughput and minimize latency.

-Automated KPI Management: Monitor KPIs within SLAs and develop Python-based scripts to automate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and detection of worst-performing cells.

-Technical Strategy & Data Mining: Execute RF enhancements, New Feature Introductions (NFI), and trial validations using advanced data analytics to assess network impact.

-Drive Test & Trace Analytics: Provide expert optimization actions based on drive test data and geolocation-based traces to resolve complex performance deviations.

-Site Integration: Identify new site requirements and oversee the technical integration process (S1-S3, TSSR, SSV.

-Compliance & Mentorship: Ensure adherence to TRC regulations and serve as a technical escalation point for the RAO team, fostering a culture of automation and technical excellence.

EDUCATION : Bachelor Degree in Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE : Intermediate Experience (5-8Yrs) in Radio Access Optimization

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE

Essential:

  • Related certification in Radio Access Optimization for 3G,4G or 5G.

Desirable:

  • Certifications in Data analysis and Visualization.

TOOLS & SYSTEMS

Essential:

  • Ericsson Eniq and ENM
  • Tems, Nemo and Smart Analytics
  • Mentum Planet

Desirable:

  • Data Analysis tools (e.g. Python)
  • Data Visualization (e.g. PowerBI or Tableau)
