We are looking for a user-centric and analytical associate product manager to support the planning, development, and optimisation of products across our e-commerce ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with product, design, engineering, and business teams to build impactful features and enhance customer experience. You will play a key role in problem discovery, requirement definition, feature prioritisation, and ensuring the smooth release of product improvements.
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
Product Strategy and Planning:
- Support in identifying customer pain points, analysing data, and proposing product solutions.
- Assist in defining product roadmaps, feature backlogs, and prioritisation using data, impact, and feasibility.
- Analyse competitor products, market trends, and best practices in e-commerce.
Requirement Management:
- Gather and translate requirements into clear user stories, product specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Create wireframes, basic mockups, and process flows to explain concepts to stakeholders.
- Ensure product requirements are aligned with business goals and user needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Engineering, Design, Business, Operations, and QA teams to drive feature execution.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, and release validation.
- Coordinate timely delivery, clarify requirements, and ensure product quality.
Product Execution and Delivery:
- Track product development progress, manage dependencies, and address blockers.
- Support the QA team in validating features and ensuring alignment with expected outcomes.
- Assist in planning product launches, internal communication, and training.
Data and Customer Insights:
- Monitor product performance through analytics tools, dashboards, and user feedback.
- Recommend data-driven improvements to enhance conversions, engagement, and retention.
- Conduct basic data analysis for decision-making and product metric tracking.
E-Commerce Product Understanding:
- Support product improvements across the catalogue, search, cart, checkout, order lifecycle, payment, delivery, and customer support flows.
- Collaborate with catalogue, pricing, logistics, CRM, and marketing teams to improve user journeys.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in product management or product coordination within an e-commerce, D2C, or marketplace platform.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce workflows: catalogue, search, cart, payments, order lifecycle, delivery, returns, and customer support.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and basic wireframes.
- Familiarity with project/product management tools (Jira, Notion, Trello) and documentation tools (Figma, Confluence, Google Workspace).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Good-to-Have:
- Exposure to analytics tools (GA4 Webengage, Metabase, Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of UI/UX fundamentals and design thinking.
- Experience with A/B testing, product experiments, or basic SQL.
