Join US Mobile as the Chief Technology Officer, where you will define and own the technology vision, unify engineering teams, lead architecture and execution, oversee infrastructure and reliability, build and lead the organization, establish engineering standards, measure productivity, evaluate new technologies, and partner with executive leadership. Missions
- Define and own the technology vision, set the company's technology strategy and long-term technical roadmap.
- Unify frontend and backend engineering organizations into one coherent technical strategy, and drive the architecture, development, deployment, and scaling of the technology platform.
- Build and lead the engineering organization, hire, mentor, and retain exceptional engineering talent, and establish engineering standards, development processes, and a culture of ownership, speed, experimentation, and excellence.
Profil recherché
- Excellent leadership, communication, hiring, and mentoring skills- 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant experience in backend, frontend, systems, and/or platform engineering
- Strong product mindset and ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes
- Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams - including Product, Data, Growth, Finance and Strategy - to align technology with company priorities
- Experience with modern infrastructure, CI/CD, containers, monitoring, and observability
- Ability to work onsite in New York City
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure
- Experience designing and operating production systems at scale
- Previous experience leading engineering teams, technical projects, or a technology organization
- Proven ability to operate in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on development experience
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, system architecture, databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and scalability
