IBM Middleware & Infrastructure Specialist

As an IBM Middleware & Infrastructure Specialist, you will play an important part in keeping core platforms running smoothly, partnering with technical teams to resolve issues, support business-critical services, and help maintain dependable infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support AIX and Linux environments.
• Support IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Support IBM HTTP Server and IBM WebSphere Edge Server.
• Support IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and IBM MQ.
• Support IBM infrastructure and middleware environments.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in IBM middleware and infrastructure support within enterprise environments.
• Administration experience with both AIX and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, and IBM WebSphere Edge Server.
• Experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), along with IBM MQ.
• Background supporting enterprise infrastructure and middleware environments and working with enterprise clients, infrastructure operations teams, application support teams, and vendor teams in incident resolution, technical troubleshooting, service coordination, and production support.
• Eligibility to work in Egypt.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Exposure to IBM SVC, FCIP, FlashSystem, FileNet, TDS, or Spectrum Protect.
• Experience in banking or other regulated industries.
• Experience in managed services.
• Experience in 24x7 production support or other critical enterprise environments.
• Relevant IBM middleware or infrastructure certifications.
