The role  

As a Google Cloud Architect (all genders), you are passionate about cloud innovation and eager to design scalable, secure, and modern Google Cloud solutions. You bring strong expertise in Google Cloud technologies, architecture, and engineering practices, along with a collaborative mindset and a drive to create impactful digital experiences.

• Also comfortable with core cloud architecture work when projects call for it 

Role responsibilities

• Design and build AI/Cloud demos, proofs of concept, and prototypes  
• Build greenfield AI-native applications, and occasionally cloud-native applications and modernization programs 
• Support workload migration and infrastructure modernization projects when needed 
• Provide technical guidance and consultancy on Google solutions to internal and client teams 
• Lead architectural discussions and solution workshops with clients, centered on AI use cases (based on experience) 
• Translate business needs into compelling technical narratives and live AI demonstrations 
• Support pre-sales activities, including AI solutioning and demo delivery for pitches 
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and solution designs 
• Design and implement scalable, secure AI solutions and supporting cloud architecture on Google Cloud
• Lead or support AI/Cloud transformation initiatives, including agent platform adoption
• Collaborate with development teams on AI/Cloud engineering and release processes
• Stay updated on Google AI and Cloud innovations and share knowledge with internal teams
• Contribute to the growth of the internal Google Cloud/AI community at Valtech 

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Hands-on in cloud engineering, architecture, or development with an appetence for architecting solutions. This can be school project, internship or hackathon. 
• Some exposure to Google's AI stack (Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience or equivalent GenAI/agent tooling on any cloud). 
• An active Google Cloud certification (Associate or Professional level), or actively working toward one 
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions 
• Genuine curiosity about AI/agentic architectures and comfort learning fast in an evolving space 
• Comfortable presenting technical concepts to both technical and business audiences 
• Understanding of cloud security best practices 
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French and English 
• Collaborative team player and knowledge sharing skills 

Nice to have qualifications  

• Hands-on experience with Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, ADK, RAG/GraphRAG architectures, or other agent frameworks 
• Experience building demos, PoCs, or prototypes 
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform 
• Programming knowledge in Python 
• Experience with data ingestion pipelines 
• Experience designing Data Platform solutions such as CloudSQL, Spanner, or AlloyDB 
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, CloudRun)
