Join VAST Data as a Senior Sales Engineer, where you will assist customers with evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, and installations. You will work closely with R&D Engineering to define product requirements and usability, participate in the creation of sales strategy and tactics, and demonstrate technical leadership in storage products and architectures. Additionally, you will help develop a dispersed group of system and field engineers, assist with recruiting and hiring, and consult on building and managing a support organization. Excellent communication skills and a strong background in enterprise storage are required.
Missions
- Assisting customers with evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, and installations.
- Working closely with R&D Engineering to define product requirements and usability.
- Participating in the creation of sales strategy and tactics, taking ownership of technical responsibilities.
Profil recherché
- Preparation and/or delivery of technical product and architecture presentations to customers and trainees- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of classic unstructured data applications and next-generation analytics and web frameworks
- 5+ years of experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage to large IT organizations
- Knowledge of virtualization, high-performance networking and enterprise security
- Positive energy, optimism and vision
- Ability to perform in an unstructured environment
