Join VAST Data as a Platform Solutions Architect focused on the NeoCloud ecosystem. In this strategic role, you will partner with NeoCloud providers to design and enable next-generation AI and data services built on the VAST platform. You will influence long-term architecture decisions, identify new service opportunities, and collaborate with various teams to ensure rapid delivery of customer-facing services. Success in this role will be measured by pipeline influence, expansion velocity, platform adoption, strategic engagement, and reference architecture ownership.
Missions
- Partner with NeoCloud customers to design scalable platform services built on the VAST platform, including AI, database, object storage, and infrastructure services.
- Engage early in customer product and service planning cycles to influence architectural direction before projects reach implementation.
- Develop reusable reference architectures, blueprints, design guides, and operational runbooks that accelerate customer deployments and become repeatable assets across the NeoCloud ecosystem.
Profil recherché
- Experience designing infrastructure platforms that are handed off to application or service engineering teams for customer-facing service development- Ability to collaborate across Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and partner ecosystems to drive platform adoption and long-term customer success
- Strong background across compute, networking, operating systems, storage, virtualization, and distributed platforms-not limited to storage architecture alone
- Demonstrated ability to create technical artifacts such as reference architectures, solution blueprints, design documents, and operational runbooks
- Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to translate business objectives into scalable technical architectures
- 5+ years designing large-scale infrastructure or platform architectures in cloud providers, hyperscalers, enterprise platform engineering teams, or AI infrastructure organizations
- Experience building or enabling Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), AI infrastructure, database services, or cloud platform services; experience with database or application services is highly desirable
- Successful candidates often come from platform engineering, cloud architecture, or infrastructure design roles within hyperscalers, NeoCloud providers, or large enterprise technology organizations
- They have designed platforms spanning networking, compute, operating systems, and storage, and have experience enabling application or service teams to build products on top of those platforms. Rather than thinking solely about infrastructure, they think about how infrastructure becomes a service that customers consume
