Who We Are:

Vesta Home (dba Showroom Group) is changing the way homes are marketed and how furniture is sold. We're obsessed with the client experience for our full-service offerings: interior design, luxury staging, elevated furniture rentals, and custom furniture production-fueled by our proprietary technology and logistics expertise.

Founded in 2017, our team of 50+ designers creates stunning interiors for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. We proudly partner with top realtors, developers, and personalities on some of the most prestigious properties in the market. You’ve likely seen our work in top design magazines, Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing, and Netflix’s Selling Sunset.

As the #1 home staging brand in the U.S., Vesta’s deep design expertise and market knowledge in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and South Florida helps sell multimillion-dollar properties faster and above asking. Our interior design and custom furniture services are available globally.

Core Values:

  • “Get it done!”: We have a bias toward action, and balance grit with smart work to accomplish our goals. We see business challenges as opportunities, always bring forward solutions, and believe there is no challenge too great that we cannot solve collectively.
  • “Design excellence”: Exceptional design is a function of continuous improvement. We apply this ruthlessly and pursue design excellence in everything we do - from projects to processes to people.
  • “Execute in partnership and with pride”: We rise by lifting others and are most successful when our peers and colleagues are successful as well. We obsess over quality, take pride in our work, and break down barriers to create seamless success.
  • “Invest not spend”: We value impact and the efficient achievement of results. We invest money - we don't spend it. We expect and monitor the returns on all of our investments, from time to money.
  • “Embrace a growth mindset”: We believe profitable growth creates opportunities and are intensely focused on progress. We develop the most talented people and empower them to offer world-class expertise to our clients.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations leader to provide senior-level direction and oversight across the Los Angeles market. In this critical role, you will partner closely with Operations Manager(s) to jointly drive market performance across safety, productivity, customer service, and cost and labor efficiency, while maintaining ultimate accountability for the market’s operational and financial results. You will serve as the primary liaison between the Los Angeles market and the Regional Director of Operations, executive leadership, and cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment on business priorities, operational performance, and strategic initiatives. By providing strong leadership across multiple facilities and locations, fostering operational excellence, and driving accountability at every level, you will ensure the LA market consistently delivers on its financial, service, and operational objectives.

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,000-$140,000 per year, plus eligibility for a quarterly bonus. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for Operations performance across the entire LA market - including all facilities/locations - partnering with the Operations Manager(s) to set and achieve safety, productivity, customer service, and cost/labor efficiency goals.
  • Own market-level financial performance, including labor budget, staffing plans, contractor/vendor spend, and capital requests; review and approve decisions with cross-facility financial impact.
  • Lead multi-site strategic and capacity planning - volume forecasting, resource allocation, and continuous process improvement initiatives - translating company-wide goals into localized site plans.
  • Directly manage, coach, and develop the Operations Manager(s) and facility leadership, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and succession planning; serve as the escalation point for complex operational, personnel, or safety issues.
  • Own market-wide safety program governance, setting the standards and policies that facility teams execute against, with ultimate accountability for OSHA compliance across the market.
  • Represent the LA market to the Regional Director, executive leadership, and external stakeholders; lead negotiation and management of major vendor, supplier, and 3PL relationships at the market level.
  • Standardize and govern SOPs across all LA facilities to ensure consistency for shared functions, while empowering facility-level leaders to adapt execution to local needs.
  • Lead market-wide workforce planning, including headcount approvals, shift structure, and labor compliance, partnering with HR on organizational design as the market scales.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Finance, HR, Real Estate, and other business partners on initiatives affecting the LA market.
  • Lead and oversee 80+ associates across warehouse and logistics functions throughout all Los Angeles market facilities.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the market’s management team, including Operations Manager(s) and, as applicable, Delivery/Logistics Manager(s) and Warehouse Manager(s) at facilities without an Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management
  • 5+ years of people-management experience, including experience managing managers
  • Prior experience managing multi-site or multi-facility operations strongly preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, GSuite, Slack, and other inventory/WMS software applications
  • Demonstrated ability to build, standardize, and scale processes across multiple locations
  • Strong executive communication skills; able to represent the market to senior leadership and external partners
  • Experience owning a budget or cost-center with demonstrated financial accountability
  • Ability to lead through others - coaching and developing manager-level direct reports
  • Forward-looking, data-driven focus on transforming/automating workflows and analytics to drive business decisions across a market
  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize competing market-wide priorities to meet deadlines
