Tequesta Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Partner Doctor to join our team and buy into the practice. 

If you've spent your career building someone else's equity, this is the alternative. In partnership with Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP), you acquire a meaningful ownership stake in the hospital, participate in its profits and long-term value, and have a genuine seat at the table on how the practice is run - without personally carrying the real estate, the payroll system, the compliance burden, or the 10 p.m. QuickBooks sessions.

• Direct equity ownership in Tequesta Veterinary Clinic -  with a structured buy-in / doctor-friendly financing options available

• Full clinical autonomy - formulary, treatment plans, pricing philosophy, and standards of care stay with the doctors

The Practice  

• AAHA-accredited and Fear Free certified - accreditation is maintained, not aspirational 

• 2-doctor small animal practice with a tenured support team 

• Broad case mix: wellness and preventive care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, in-house diagnostics, laser therapy, pain management, integrative medicine and acupuncture, and compassionate end-of-life care 

• Established, loyal, referral-driven client base  

• Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-5, Sat 9-1. No overnight emergency duty

The Location  

Tequesta sits at the northern tip of Palm Beach County, between the Loxahatchee River and the Atlantic. Jupiter Island beaches, blue-water fishing, Jonathan Dickinson State Park, and top-rated schools are all within a few miles. No state income tax. Palm Beach International is 30 minutes south. It is, plainly, one of the better places in the country to own a veterinary practice and raise a family. 

Who We're Looking For  

• DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited school; Florida licensure or eligibility for licensure 

• 2+ years in small animal general practice - comfortable running a full day independently 

• Genuine interest in ownership: someone who wants input on hiring, standards, growth, and culture 

• Strong surgical and dental foundation; [interest in integrative medicine a plus] 

• A mentor's instinct with support staff and newer doctors 

• Excellent communicator who builds long-term client relationships 

Compensation & Benefits  

• Base salary of $135,000-$145,000  

• Equity ownership with [buy-in structure / financing]; distributions [quarterly/annually] 

• Signing bonus of $20,000 

• Health, dental, and vision · 401(k) with 3.5% match 

• 3 weeks PTO · $2,500 annual CE allowance with paid CE days 

• Licensure, DEA, AVMA/FVMA dues, and liability coverage covered
