What you'll do

The team is responsible for supporting and sustaining Viasat's Oracle EBS technical ecosystem, including customizations, interfaces, reports, extensions, integrations, concurrent programs, and supporting technologies. The team works closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Projects, and other business functions to ensure critical ERP processes operate reliably and efficiently. The day-to-day

The day-to-day work is focused on understanding, documenting, and improving the technical landscape supporting Oracle EBS. The candidate will work closely with technical and functional teams to capture critical system knowledge, document integrations and customizations, and establish sustainable support practices. A typical day may include:

  • Meeting with Oracle EBS technical developers, functional analysts, and business stakeholders to understand system architecture and business processes.

  • Documenting technical designs, support procedures, system dependencies, and operational runbooks.
  • Analyzing integrations between Oracle EBS and upstream/downstream applications.
  • Identifying undocumented processes, single points of failure, and key-person dependencies.
  • Developing knowledge transfer materials and conducting cross-training sessions with support teams.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, ERP systems, or business applications.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS.
  • Experience supporting system integrations, interfaces, reports, workflows, or custom applications (CEMLI).
  • Experience creating technical documentation, support runbooks, or knowledge management artifacts.
