  • Lead complex cross-functional programs from planning through execution, establishing clear governance for timelines, risks, approvals, deliverables, stakeholder communications, and reporting.
  • Apply sound brand and marketing judgment to shape consumer, partner, and experiential programs, ensuring that positioning, messaging, and execution quality consistently support Visa’s business priorities.
  • Influence and align internal stakeholders across Product, Sales, Consulting, Client Marketing, and other functions to secure support and enable effective decision-making.
  • Build and manage strong partner and agency relationships, overseeing campaign assets, approvals, deliverables, and high-quality execution across creative, media, digital, event, and promotional workstreams.
  • Manage assigned budgets and contra investments with disciplined forecasting, governance, and compliance; establish clear KPIs; and use performance insights to optimize business impact, marketing effectiveness, and return on investment.
  • Improve marketing operations through streamlined processes and the responsible use of automation, generative AI, and productivity tools.

Why This Position Is Important to Visa:

This position connects Visa’s product priorities, consumer insights, partner opportunities, and sponsorship assets to drive measurable growth and client value in Japan. By translating these inputs into scalable consumer propositions and integrated programs, the Manager strengthens engagement, improves marketing effectiveness, and helps Visa and its clients realize greater value from their investments.
