Role summary:The (USA) Supervisor, Security leads and oversees security associates by coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards. The Physical Security team at Walmart Campus is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive emergency response and comprehensive security management. This team develops and enforces security protocols, conducts threat assessments, and ensures compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. Collaborating with internal partners and external agencies, they provide tactical responses to life safety events and support continuous improvements in security operations. The team upholds integrity and professionalism while protecting associates, assets, and facilities, fostering a secure workplace aligned with Walmart’s commitment to safety and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
- Supervise associates by assigning duties-coordinating workloads.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support while reinforcing company policies and procedures.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new and existing associates.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to promote a safe work environment.
- Respond to emergencies and implement incident command protocols when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements, addressing violations and corrective actions.
- Support the development and improvement of safety, security, and training programs.
- Investigate security incidents, assess threats, and assist with mitigation efforts.
- Manage security systems and respond to alarm activations to protect people and assets.
- Foster a culture of integrity, respect, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience supervising teams, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback.
- Strong knowledge of safety, security, and emergency response protocols, including life safety incident management.
- Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies such as OSHA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and fire codes.
- Skilled in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners to promote a secure environment.
- Experience in coaching, training, and onboarding associates to support operational excellence.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and commitment to ethical standards and company values.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to build trust and achieve business objectives.
