We are looking for a Manager, Procurement & Logistics with a main responsibility in leading Energy Services Upgrades procurement & logistics team. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Manager, Procurement & Logistics your work will include leading people in different locations and ensuring that procurement & logistics activities are executed in high level for Energy Services Upgrades projects. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of Energy Service Upgrades organization and with Procurement & Logistics team with diverse expertise.
Responsibilities
- Leading and developing the Procurement & Logistics team and ensuring a high-performing and service-oriented organisation.
- Supporting Energy Services project teams with procurement, logistics, invoicing, and administrative activities.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within procurement, logistics, and project support processes.
- Ensuring efficient material and logistics flows for global upgrade projects.
- Supporting business stakeholders in procurement and logistics related escalations.
- Managing and developing supplier and logistics service provider relationships.
- Monitoring and improving supplier delivery performance, material availability, and logistics execution.
Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar.
- Previous leadership experience with responsibility for people management and team development.
- Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, supply chain, or project delivery processes.
- Experience from global project business and stakeholder management.
- Experience in supplier management and service provider collaboration.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to drive change and continuous improvement activities.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of international trade, customs processes, VAT, Incoterms, and regulatory compliance is considered an advantage.
- Fluent written and spoken English. Finnish and/or Swedish are considered an advantage.
