We are seeking a commercially driven Strategy Professional to work closely with senior leadership on the growth, performance, and strategic development of a hospitality business. The role will focus on business planning, revenue strategy, market intelligence, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives across the hospitality portfolio.

The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and strategic thinking with a practical understanding of hospitality operations and commercial performance. This role requires close collaboration with business and functional stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, evaluate performance, develop strategic recommendations, and support the execution of key business priorities.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support long-term business and growth strategies for existing and upcoming hospitality assets.
• Drive annual business planning, revenue planning, forecasting, and performance management in collaboration with business and functional teams.
• Monitor and analyse key hospitality metrics including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, room revenue, F&B revenue, margins, and overall profitability.
• Evaluate business performance against budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Develop revenue and commercial strategies based on demand patterns, seasonality, pricing, competition, market trends, and customer behaviour.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, growth opportunities, and potential business risks.
• Assess new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic initiatives through commercial, market, and financial analysis.
• Partner with Finance and business teams on budgets, forecasts, business cases, financial models, and investment-related analysis.
• Prepare management dashboards, business reviews, presentations, and strategic reports for senior leadership.
• Translate complex data and business insights into clear recommendations and actionable plans.
• Identify operational and commercial gaps and work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement improvement initiatives.
• Track strategic initiatives, monitor progress against objectives, and ensure timely execution across teams.
• Support leadership in business reviews, management meetings, strategic planning sessions, and other critical business discussions.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and serve as a strategic partner on business performance and growth-related matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, guest experience, asset performance, and operational efficiency across the hospitality portfolio.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, revenue management, commercial planning, business performance, or a related function.
• Prior experience in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of hospitality P&L, budgeting, forecasting, revenue planning, and commercial performance.
• Experience working across multiple properties or managing a hospitality portfolio will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in developing business strategies, analysing performance, and supporting senior leadership decision-making.
