Senior Software Engineer

KE2 Therm Solutions is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and support the software platform connecting commercial refrigeration systems in the field to the cloud. The role owns software services and capabilities end to end, contributes to architecture and technical direction, and develops scalable applications across backend, web, and infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications and services
• Build scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and web applications
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, networking, and system-level issues
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frontend technologies
• Implement secure backend services supporting authentication, authorization, and session management
• Design APIs that enable seamless integration between frontend, backend, and third-party systems
• Optimize system performance through caching and efficient API design
• Deploy and support applications in Linux-based environments
• Monitor system performance and analyze application and system logs
• Diagnose network, connectivity, and infrastructure-related issues
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to improve system reliability and scalability

Skills

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science; A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 3-5 years of experience in web development technologies with: **Linux Administration**
