Python Developer

We are looking for an exceptional Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users, developing server-side logic, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. The ideal candidate must have a rock-solid foundation in core computer science concepts, specifically Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), to design and implement highly scalable and optimised backend systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Develop robust, highly scalable, and low-latency backend architectures and APIs.
• Apply strong OOPS principles to build modular and maintainable software systems.
• Utilise advanced Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) to solve complex computational problems and optimise application performance.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot bugs, and devise elegant solutions to mitigate these issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, front-end developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features.

Requirements:

• Core Python: Strong proficiency in Python programming with a deep understanding of its quirks, ecosystem, and best practices.
• OOPs Expertise: Excellent command over Object-Oriented Programming concepts (Inheritance, Polymorphism, Encapsulation, Abstraction) and design patterns.
• DSA Proficiency: Strong problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of Data Structures (Arrays, Trees, Graphs, Hash Tables, etc. ) and Algorithms (Sorting, Searching, Dynamic Programming, etc. ).
• Frameworks: Hands-on experience with popular Python web frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Database Management: Solid understanding of relational databases (e. g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM (Object-Relational Mapper) libraries.
• API Development: Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Version Control: Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Clean Code: A strong commitment to writing clean, readable, and properly documented code.

Good to Have (Optional):

• Experience with NoSQL databases (e. g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming in Python (asyncio).
