Whatyou’llown
Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging security technologies and AI capabilities that support Global Payments’ cyber strategy and risk reductionobjectives.
Lead proofs of concept, pilot programs, and technical evaluations, moving innovative solutions from concept through validation and transition planning.
Design scalable, secure architectures for AI, predictive analytics, automation, and other emerging technology initiatives.
Partner with cybersecurity, cloud, data, and business teams toidentifyhigh-value cyber use cases and develop practical adoption roadmaps.
Provide technical leadership for cross-functional innovation initiatives, including vendor evaluations, solution recommendations, and executive-ready presentations.
Whatyou’llbring
Bachelor’sdegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or emerging technology.
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading AI, generative AI, predictive analytics, or cybersecurity innovation initiatives.
Experience designing or evaluating cloud-based solutions, and applying scripting or automation using Perl, Ansible, or similar technologies.
Proven ability to lead technical proofs of concept, product evaluations, or pilot programs and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Strong project leadership, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and business decisions in a matrixed environment.
It’sa bonus if you have
Experience with quantum computing, quantum-safe cryptography, or other emerging technologies relevant to cybersecurity.
A track recordof independently exploringnew technologies, developing innovative prototypes, and turning research into practical business or security outcomes.
Strong curiosity, client focus, and collaborative leadership, withthe accountabilityand determination to influence stakeholders, challenge conventional approaches, and deliver results as one team.
