QA Engineer

Seeking a Quality Engineer with 2-5 years' experience in API, browser automation, and database testing for leading E-commerce and Food Tech applications in Gurgaon. The candidate should be adept at running queries in both SQL and NoSQL/Nodal databases, supporting robust test strategies focused on data integrity, usability, and cross-platform coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans for web, mobile, and backend APIs with an emphasis on Gurgaon-based E-commerce and Food Tech environments.
• Write and run complex queries for data validation across relational (SQL) and nodal (NoSQL) databases.
• Integrate database and API tests into automated testing pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to design data-centric test scenarios, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Document findings and clearly communicate database-related defects to stakeholders.
• Participate in usability, cross-browser, and cross-platform testing for web and mobile applications.
• Leverage tools like Rest Assured and Selenium for automation; use JMeter for performance validation.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in quality engineering.
• Proficient in database querying (SQL: MySQL, PostgreSQL; NoSQL/Nodal: MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Experienced with automation tools (Rest Assured, Selenium) and scripting languages (Java, Python).
• Knowledge of API, browser, and end-to-end testing in cross-browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and cross-platform (web, Android, iOS) environments.
• Understanding of performance testing using JMeter.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Previous work in E-commerce or Food Tech preferred, especially in dynamic, fast-paced Gurgaon-based teams.
• Ability to integrate database and API tests into CI/CD pipelines.
