You're not just looking for another job - you want to shape something. This is your chance to make an impact as an Experienced Process Engineer with a team that thrives on curiosity, connection, and collaboration.

Based in one of our Saskatoon offices, you will join WSP's Canadian Resources team and contribute process engineering expertise to industrial and mining projects across the project lifecycle. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will help clients advance practical, safe, and efficient solutions-from studies and detailed design through procurement, construction management, commissioning, and industrial programming.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Design and optimize industrial and mining processes, using simulations and technical analyses to improve project performance, safety, and long-term value.
  • Produce clear engineering deliverables, including calculation notes, equipment specifications, reports, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists and clients to turn project requirements into coordinated, practical process solutions.
  • Develop and review tender packages, specifications, scopes, budgets, and technical documentation that support confident procurement and delivery decisions.
  • Support Project Managers by identifying technical priorities, managing process-engineering inputs, and contributing to successful project outcomes.
  • Strengthen client relationships through responsive communication, sound engineering judgement, and solutions aligned with operational needs.

THE SKILLS THAT SET YOU APART

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant industrial process engineering experience supporting mining, resources, manufacturing, or comparable heavy-industry projects.
  • Practical knowledge of process design, optimization, process simulation, equipment selection, calculations, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Experience with simulation software such as HYSYS or Aspen Plus; knowledge of AFT Fathom is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including NFPA, API, and TSSA requirements, is an asset.
  • Ability to coordinate technical work with clients and multidisciplinary project teams and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Availability to work in the field or onsite when required while meeting all project health and safety requirements; consulting engineering experience is an asset.
