Planning Engineer

Develop comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard planning tools and methodologies.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and proactively recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project status, resource allocation, and schedule performance.
Facilitate regular project review meetings to update teams on progress and address scheduling issues.
Analyze project data to forecast resource needs and optimize project workflows.
Ensure all planning activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and client requirements.
Support the preparation of tender schedules and assist in bid planning as required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate planning activities across multiple projects.
Continuously improve planning processes and tools to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
3 to 7 years of experience in project planning or project controls within engineering or construction environments.
Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
